Dip-coater

Dip coating is one of the most widely-used coating processes in industry and academia for producing thin films. By controlling the speed of substrate withdrawal from solution, you can vary the thickness of the deposited film. By using a high-precision motor, the rate of withdrawal – and therefore the film thickness – can be controlled with a high degree of accuracy and reproducibility.

In our laboratory, we found the dip-coater very useful in the technique of thin polymer layer transfer. We utilize high motion accuracy to provide continuous polymer exfoliation.
